Y agreg\u00f3 en relaci\u00f3n a la crisis por el Covid-19 que afecta al mundo entero: \u201cHay varias lecciones que estamos aprendiendo. Y una de ellas es que la pandemia viene porque no estamos tratando bien al planeta. La pandemia viene por un proceso de comercio ilegal de especies y de un acceso a una cantidad de virus y bacterias que est\u00e1n presentes en la vida silvestre, que normalmente se mantienen en balance. Desde el momento en que comenzamos a deforestar, a meternos en ambientes en que no deber\u00edamos estar o a comercializar fauna silvestre, no s\u00f3lo impactamos en el ambiente sino tambi\u00e9n en la comunidad global, desde el punto de vista econ\u00f3mico, social y sanitario. Est\u00e1 todo conectado\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, Daniel Herrero, opin\u00f3: \u201cDebemos hablar de un capitalismo sustentable. El plan de Toyota para 2050 es que sus veh\u00edculos no dejen huella de carbono, tanto desde su producci\u00f3n hasta su uso y disposici\u00f3n final. La movilidad va a ser siempre fundamental para el ser humano, pero deber\u00e1 hacerse de forma sustentable. Y cuando hablo de sustentabilidad no s\u00f3lo hablo de no destruir m\u00e1s, sino tambi\u00e9n de reconstruir\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El objetivo de la conversaci\u00f3n fue inspirar y mostrar c\u00f3mo dos organizaciones globales se unen para hacer frente a las problem\u00e1ticas ambientales y sumar su aporte para la construcci\u00f3n de una sociedad comprometida con el cuidado ambiental. Esta primera charla da inicio a un ciclo de conversaciones que se mantendr\u00e1n con referentes de temas como innovaci\u00f3n, movilidad, educaci\u00f3n y salud, entre otros temas que la compa\u00f1\u00eda cree relevantes para construir una sociedad mejor.<\/p>\n<p>En este primer cap\u00edtulo que se focaliz\u00f3 en Ambiente, se puso en el centro de escena el trabajo que realiza BirdLife a nivel mundial.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\"><p>El objetivo de la conversaci\u00f3n fue inspirar y mostrar c\u00f3mo dos organizaciones globales se unen para hacer frente a las problem\u00e1ticas ambientales y sumar su aporte para la construcci\u00f3n de una sociedad comprometida con el cuidado ambiental.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLas aves son el term\u00f3metro de la salud de nuestro planeta. Cuando nosotros vemos cambios en las aves es porque algo malo est\u00e1 pasando.\u00a0Desde BirdLife estamos empujando la campa\u00f1a \u201cOne Planet, One Right\u201d, porque queremos que la Declaraci\u00f3n Universal de los Derechos Humanos incluya el derecho al medioambiente natural sano, porque nuestra supervivencia, nuestra salud y nuestra econom\u00eda dependen de la interacci\u00f3n de todas nuestras especies\u201d, asegur\u00f3 Patricia Zurita.<\/p>\n<p>Los directivos adem\u00e1s dialogaron acerca del Programa Patagonia, un proyecto desarrollado por Aves Argentinas, representante de BirdLife en Argentina, que trabaja en la conservaci\u00f3n de especies en peligro de extinci\u00f3n en el sur de nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto fue seleccionado -entre 26 proyectos de todo el mundo- por Toyota Motor Corporation en Jap\u00f3n y recibir\u00e1 USD 60.000 para ampliar su alcance, permitiendo adem\u00e1s la protecci\u00f3n de nuevas especies de aves, grandes herb\u00edvoros y grandes, medianos y peque\u00f1os mam\u00edferos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPara nosotros es fundamental poder generar estos espacios de alianza, aprendizaje y reflexi\u00f3n\u201d,\u00a0afirm\u00f3 Daniel Herrero. \u201cCreemos que el cambio empieza con la propia convicci\u00f3n y que se contagia.
